Emergency opening

EMERGENCY OPENING

1. Working from the passenger compartment, open the boot.
2. Working from each side of the boot, pull the two cables with eyelet for emergency opening of the hood lid.

HOOD LID OPENING DEVICE

Removal / Refitting

• Disconnect the battery.
• Close the hood, release it at the rear and raise it. Open the hood compartment lid.

1. Move aside the hood compartment inner trim.
2. Disconnect the electrical connection.
3. Disconnect the two screws fastening the actuator.
4. Disconnect the two screws fastening the lock.
5. Disconnect the control rod from the lock.
6. Remove the actuator complete with rod and lock.

Refit the actuator and lock reversing the sequence followed for removal. Adjust the position of the hood lid.

LOCK STRIKER

Removal / Refitting

• With the hood open, remove the hood lid.

1. Disconnect the two screws fastening each striker.
2. Remove the striker.
3. Remove any thicknesses.

Refit the lock striker reversing the sequence followed for removal. Adjust the position of the hood lid.
