  1. Remove the seal from the edge of the boot compartment.
  2. Raise the shelf cover at the rear.
  3. Slacken the three screws and remove the torsion spring.

LOCK

Removal / Refitting

  1. Raise the box opening handle and use a small screwdriver on the pins fastening the handle to the lid.
  2. Remove the complete handle.
  3. Using two fine punches work on the lock retainer clips.
  4. Remove the lock.

When refitting, reverse the sequence followed for removal.

HOOD COMPARTMENT INNER PARTITION

REMOVAL / REFITTING

  • With the hood closed, raise it at the rear and open the hood lid.
  1. Working from both sides of the car, slacken the upper screw of the door surround vertical plate.
  2. Using tool 1.823.014.000 prise the four squares.
  3. Remove the door surround vertical plate.
