Seat belts

Refit the seal proceeding as follows.

• Clean and degrease the areas in contact with the adhesive part of the seal.
• Position the seal inserting it in the retainer profiles.
• Remove the protective films and and carefully stick on the adhesive areas.

REMOVAL/REFITTING

– Move the seat forwards.

1. Release the belt from the loop.
2. Remove the plastic cap.
3. Slacken the seat belt lower fastening screw.

34 ÷ 42 Nm
3.5 ÷ 4.3 kgm

• With the hood closed, release it at the rear and raise it. Open the hood compartment cover.

1. Move aside the hood compartment inner trim.
2. Slacken the inertia reel fastening screw.
3. Pull the belt from the slot in the trim and remove it togwether with the reel.

34 ÷ 42 Nm
3.5 ÷ 4.3 kgm

134 ÷ 42 Nm
13.5 ÷ 4.3 kgm

Refit the seat belt reversing the sequence followed for removal.
