ADJUSTMENT

1. Adjust the boot lid longitudinally and at the transversally, working on the screws fastening the hinges to the lid, checking the alignment and gaps.
2. If necessary, increase or reduce the shims for adjusting the lid in height.

NOTE: Before adjusting the boot lid, the seal, lock and telescopic props should be installed.

DAMPING MASS (SPIDER ONLY)

REMOVING

• Raise the car.
• Slacken and remove the fastening nuts.
• Slacken and remove the stay screws.
• Remove the damping mass.
• If necessary, slacken the screws and remove the brackets.

35 ÷ 50 Nm
3.6 ÷ 5.1 kgm

20 ÷ 25 Nm
2.0 ÷ 2.6 kgm

25 ÷ 37 Nm
2.6 ÷ 3.8 kgm

Refit the damping mass reversing the sequence followed for removal and observing the specified tightening torques.
