INTRODUCTION - REAR AXLE

1.2 8v, 1.3 Multijet, 1.4 16v

The driveshafts, constant velocity joints and intermediate shaft that make up the transmission assembly transmit motion from the gearbox to the drive wheels.

The transmission is the type with wheel side constant velocity joints and three-lobe joints fitted on the hubs, differential side.

The right driveshaft has a hot-fitted vibration damper weight, which therefore cannot be replaced in a service situation.
