1. Use a file to remove bearing retaining stakes on the inner surface of the pulley assembly. Then use press (slave cylinder P) and parts 1877510000 (1) and 1877511000 (2) to press fit a new bearing in the pulley assembly.
2. After press-fitting the bearing fully in its seat on the pulley, use a 5 mm diameter steel drift to make three stakes by inserting stake alternately between the three millings on part 1877510000 and bearing seat. The notch must be close to but not in contact with the outer bearing race to prevent the race become deformed.
3. Use axle and brackets (mentioned on previous page) and part 1877510000 (1) to fit pulley assembly to front compressor mount. Brackets (3) must be fastened to mount (S) to which the compressor is fastened.
4. Use round-nosed pliers to refit the pulley assembly retaining ring (1) in its seat on the front compressor mount.
5. Fit key into clutch plate hub groove and fit clutch plate to compressor shaft.
