Relay T17 of engine compartment control unit B001 is supplied directly from the battery from the line of fuse F9, also located in engine compartment B001; relay T17 supplies the circuit only when the coil receives an INT/A signal from the steering lock control unit with the ignition turned ON, via a line protected by fuse F31 under-dashboard control unit B002.

when an earth signal is received from Body Computer M001 - from pin 14 of connector A - relay T17 operates headlamp washer pumpN025 directly; this command is sent on the basis of a positive windscreen washer request signal from stalk unit H005 - pin 5 of connector A - and with the low beam enablement on (pin 28 of connector G of M001).
