ALARM - OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION

RIGHT HAND DRIVE

The alarm system is managed by the alarm control unit integral with Body Computer M001 supplied directly from the battery (+30) from the line of maxifuse CPL B099 - pin 18 of connector F and a line protected by fuse F39 - pin 17 of connector F.

The ignition-operated power supply (INT from the steering lock control unit) reaches Body Computer M001 at pin 9 of connector F.

Body Computer M001 receives door open input signals at pin 8 connector D (driver''s side front door), pin 25 connectorE (passenger side front door), pin 16 connector D (left rear door) and pin 26 connector E (right rear door).

These signals turn on the timed lights.

See E2510 COURTESY LIGHTS

The bonnet is controlled by switch I010 that connects to pin 24 of connector B of Body Computer M001 while the boot is controlled by switch I011 that is connected to pin 24 of connector E of Body Computer M001.

This switch turns on the boot light by means of a different contact.

See E2520 GLOVE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - SUN VISOR LIGHT

The siren P090 receives a supply from the body computer M001, from pin 34 connector B and is connected with the dedicated serial line at pin 25 of connector B of Body Computer M001.

The volumetric - perimeter and antilift sensors K062 are supplied by pin 39 of connector E from Body Computer M001 and are connected via a dedicated serial line to pin 7 of connector D of Body Computer M001.

Unit K062 is supplied by an ignition-operated line (INT) protected by fuse E49 of under-dashboard control unit B002.

Volumetric sensor unit K062 encloses the buttons for turning off the volumetric sensors and antilift sensor.

Deterrent led E40, located on the driver side front door, is connected to pins 6 and 8 of connector C of driver side door control unit M066

The remote control receiver aerial in ignition device H003 is connected to the Body Computer via the B-CAN network.
