Heating/ventilation control unit

• working in left front part of engine bay, i.e. in front of the battery support plate, unscrew inner nut that is screwed onto stud (arrowed) of bracket (5) of pipe (B) (connecting condenser to dehydrating filter) that fastens filter to support and filter retaining bracket (2);
• unscrew nut (6) that fastens bracket (2) supporting and retaining dehydrating filter (1) to body plate (3);
• remove dehydrating filter (1) with bracket (2) from seat and withdraw first part from second after loosening nut (7).

NOTE Seal fittings of pipes disconnected from dehydrating filter with watertight plugs to prevent the new filter absorbing moisture that could impair its efficiency.

HEATING/VENTILATION CONTROL UNIT

To remove the control unit, after disconnecting the two connectors (1) simply unscrew nuts (2) that retain it to the underlying bracket secured to the body; to work on the relays and fuses, unscrew screws (3) and remove cover (4).
