PASSENGER COMPARTMENT VENTILATION FAN

To remove, work on bottom rear part of instrument facia (see first figure at top) and disconnect connector (4) of supply leads from base (5) of fan and unscrew screws (6) retaining fan to bottom part of evaporator - heater - distributor assembly.

Disassembly

• disconnect the two terminals of leads (7) supplying motor (8) from connector (9) press-fitted to base (5);
• undo profiled flexible blocks (10) fitted to adaptor ring (11) in order to release from base (5);
• withdraw motor (8) with impeller (12) and adaptor ring (11) from base (5);
• use a drift to remove impeller (12) from shaft of motor (8) to which it is press-fitted;
• expand tabs with toothed profile of adaptor ring (11) outward in order to withdraw ring from motor (8).

ELECTRONIC REGULATION UNIT COMPRESSOR OPERATION

To remove, work on the bottom part of the instrument facia (see first figure at top) and unscrew screws indicated by arrows in the two figures at the top that fasten container (13) to the bottom middle part of the evaporator - heater - distributor assembly.
