• Fit the engine compartment gasket.
• Connect the negative (-)battery terminal

• Remove the body protection cover.
• Close the engine compartment.

5020A50 - HEATER RADIATOR - R.R.

Removal

• Position the vehicle on a shop jack.
• Open the engine compartment.
• Assemble the body protection covers.
• Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Carry out Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R.R.
• Carry out Op. 5050B38 FRONT WINDSCREEN WIPER unit - R.R. or repair.
• Carry out Op. 5020A10 HEATER BOX - R.R.

1. Take off the sheath and disconnect the heater cock control cable.

Note: Before removing the sheath, mark its position.

2. Unscrew the heater radiator fastening screws and remove it.

1. Take out the breather pipe from the heater radiator.
2. Unscrew the heater radiator cock fastening screws and remove it with the gaskets.

Refitting

Note: Before reassembling the radiator check that it is not damaged and has no cracks that could influence the seal. Straighten the bent fins.

• Assemble the cock with the gaskets on the heater radiator and fasten with the screws.
• Insert the breather pipe on the heater radiator.
• Assemble the radiator in the heater box.
• Tighten the heater radiator fastening screws.
• Connect the heater cock control cable and fit the sheath in the fastening clip.

Note: After connecting the heater cock control cable, check that with the knob in cold air and maximum air heating positions the heater cock is fully closed and fully open respectively.

• Complete with Op. 5020A10 HEATER BOX - R.R.
• Complete with Op. 5050B38 FRONT WINDSCREEN WIPER unit - R.R. or repair.
• Complete with Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R.R.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Remove the body protection cover.
• Close the engine compartment.
• Remove the vehicle from the shop jack.
