Fan Switch and Fan Motor Resistor

(Cont. Op. 5020A40)

  1. Unscrew screws (2a)and remove the fan switch (2b)

Refitting

  • Assemble the fan switch and fasten with the screws.
  • Connect the climate control fan control electrical connection

  • Complete with Op. 5020A10 HEATER BOX - R.R.
  • Complete with Op. 5050B38 FRONT WINDSCREEN WIPER unit - R.R. or repair.
  • Complete with Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R.R.
  • Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

  • Remove the body protection cover.
  • Close the engine compartment.
  • Remove the vehicle from the shop jack.

5020A44 - HEATER FAN MOTOR RESISTOR - R.R.

Removal

  • Open the engine compartment.
  • Assemble the body protection covers.
  • Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  1. Partially remove the engine compartment gasket.
  2. Unscrew screws (2a)of the soundproofing guard (2b) and remove it.

  1. Disconnect the passenger compartment fan adjustment resistor electrical connection

  1. Unscrew the fastening screws and remove the fan motor resistor.

Refitting

  • Assemble fan motor resistor and fasten with the screws.
  • Connect the passenger compartment fan adjustment resistor electrical connection
