5050A10 - WINDOW WASHER LIQUID RESERVOIR (IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT) - R.R.

Removal

• Position the vehicle on a shop jack.
• Open the engine compartment.
• Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Name Connector

• Remove the plug from the screen washer reservoir (see Op. 5050A14 Reservoir PLUG(in engine compartment) or screen washer liquid level sensor - Check and top-up if necessary).
• Raise the vehicle.
• Remove the front right wheel (see Op. 4450B10 front WHEEL (one) - R+R).
• Remove the front right supplementary wheel housing (see Op. 7055B42 SUPPLEMENTARY WHEEL HOUSING (one) - R+R).

1. Disconnect the screen washer pump motor electrical connection

2. Disconnect the rear window pump motor electrical connection

3. Unscrew screws (3a) of the washer liquid reservoir (3b).

1. Overturn the reservoir and empty the liquid into a clean vessel.
2. Tale out the front and rear window washer system pipes and remove the reservoir.

1. Turn the front(1a)and rear (1b)screen washer pumps clockwise and take them out from the reservoir with the gaskets (1c) and filter(1d).
2. Unscrew the nut and remove the bracket from the screen washer reservoir.

Refitting

• Assemble the bracket on the screen washer reservoir and fasten with the nut.
• Assemble the front and rear window washer pumps on the reservoir with the filters and gaskets and lock, turning them anti-clockwise.
• Reposition the screen washer reservoir in the wheel housing and fasten with the screws.
• Insert the front and rear window washer system pipes on the pumps.
• Connect the screen washer pump motor electrical connection
