2. Unscrew the front windscreen wiper unit fastening screws.

1. Partially remove the front windscreen wiper unit and lift the cover of the electrical connections box.
2. Disconnect the screen wiper motor electrical connection

• Remove the front windscreen wiper unit.

Refitting

• Reposition the front windscreen wiper unit and connect the wiper motor electrical connection

• Lower the cover of the wiper electrical connections box.
• Tighten the front windscreen wiper unit fastening screws.
• Tighten the wiper arm pivot nuts.
• Assemble the soundproofing guard and fasten with the screws.
• Reposition the bracket with the injection/ignition control unit and fasten with the nuts.
• Fit the engine compartment gasket.

• Complete with Op. 1048A10 COMPLETE AIR CLEANER - R+R.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Remove the body protection cover.
• Close the engine compartment.
• Assemble the wiper arms with the blades (see Op. 5050B32 Front windscreen WIPER ARM/S - R.R.).
• Check that the windscreen wiper operates correctly.

Removal

• Remove the wiper arms with the blades (see Op. 5050B32 Front windscreen WIPER ARM/S - R.R.).
• Open the engine compartment.
• Assemble the body protection covers.
• Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

• Carry out Op. 1048A10 COMPLETE AIR CLEANER - R.R.
• Carry out Op. 5050B38 FRONT WINDSCREEN WIPER unit - R.R. or repair.
• Carry out Op. 5050B50 Front windscreen wiper motor INTERMITTENT FUNCTION - R.R. with motor removed.
• Carry out Op. 5050B42 Front windscreen wiper MOTOR - R.R.
• Carry out Op. 5050B46 Reduction GEAR - R.R. with motor removed.
