  1. Unscrew the nut and remove the wiper arm.

Refitting

  • Check that the wiper arm is not damaged or distorted.
  • Refit the wiper arm in the position marked during disassembly and fasten with its nut.
  • Lower the nut-cover lid.
  • Complete with Op. 5050B28 Front windscreen wiper BLADE/S - R.R.
  • Check that the windscreen wiper operates correctly.

5050B38 - FRONT WINDSCREEN WIPER UNIT - R.R. OR REPAIR

Removal

  • Remove the wiper arms with the blades (see Op. 5050B32 Front windscreen WIPER ARM/S - R.R.).
  • Open the engine compartment.
  • Assemble the body protection covers.
  • Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  • Carry out Op. 1048A10 COMPLETE AIR CLEANER - R.R.
  1. Unscrew the fastening nuts and move the bracket with the ignition/injection control unit, without disconnecting the electrical connections.

  1. Partially remove the engine compartment gasket.
  2. Unscrew screws (2a) of the soundproofing guard(2b) and remove it.

  1. Unscrew the wiper arm pivot nuts.
