H11 Stiff steering - in only one direction
During normal steering the steering action stiffens when steering either to the left or to the right.
If required, run a test by steering completely under different conditions to check that the fault reported actually occurs:
- - if stiffness occurs in both directions, see table H10
- - if stiffness occurs in one direction only, continue with this table
Preliminarily check:
- - tyre pressure
- - wheel geometry
