SUBGROUP TESTS

7035A - NO INFILTRATION CHECK ON FIXED GLASS (WINDSCREEN, REAR SIDE WINDOWS AND REAR WINDOW)

1. Place a solution of soapy water around the entire outside window perimeter .
2. From inside the passenger compartment, blow air under pressure along the entire perimeter.
   • If necessary move the trims sideways and upward.

• Visually check for forming of air bubbles on the outside surface: this will locate any points where the sealant is insufficient or damaged.
• If the lack of sealant is located separately in only a few points, it is possible to inject «rubber gasket» type sealant from inside.
• If the lack of sealant is general and in wide areas, the overall seal of the glass is not ensured, and therefore it is necessary to disassemble the glass and make a complete new sealing operation(see PROCEDURE OP. 7035A04 (windscreen) 7035B06 (rear window) 7035C04 ( rear side fixed windows).
