ADDITIONAL HEATER NOT ACTIVATED USING REMOTE CONTROL

The additional heater is not activated when the remote control is operated

the remote control has a range of about 900 m in an open area and about 600 m if there are obstacles if the batteries are fully charged

With the tester (Examiner or other instrument) connected, check the CAN network information for:

  • no control unit not activated;
  • that there are no faulty control units;
  • no control unit with faulty CAN line;
Move on to Step1. Presence of faults1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment

2CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Keeping the diagnostic equipment (Examiner or other instruments) connected to the diagnostic socket, check:

  • that there are no faults in the climate control system node
Move on to Step1. Presence of faults1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
2. No communication with the control unitMove on to Step
3CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Keeping the diagnostic equipment (Examiner or other instruments) connected to the diagnostic socket, check:

  • no faults in the supplementary heater control unit
Move on to StepPresence of faultsContinue following the instructions for the diagnostic equipment
4CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATIONALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check that the fault is no longer present
