CLIMATE CONTROL NOT WORKING IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

The climate control system will not work when the controls are operated.

STEPOPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUTTEST RESULTS
0PRELIMINARY CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check:

  • condition of climate control system fuses

    (Wiring Diagram ) E6020 AIR CONDITIONING

  • Correct climate control system pressure
Move on to Step1. Fuses blown.1. Change the blown fuses.
2. Pressure not correct

2. Eliminate leaks and top up climate control system to correct level

1CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

With the tester (Examiner or other instrument) connected, check the CAN network information for:

  • no control unit not activated;
  • that there are no faulty control units;
  • no control unit with faulty CAN line;

2CHECK USING DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENTALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Keeping the diagnostic equipment (Examiner or other instruments) connected to the diagnostic socket, check:

  • that there are no faults in the climate control system node
Move on to Step1. Presence of faults1. Continue following the instructions for the diagnostic equpiment
2. No dialogue with the control unitMove on to Step
3CHECK CONTINUITYALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check:

  • continuity of serial line K

Move on to StepConnections not correct

Restore the connections

4CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATIONALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check that the fault is no longer presentFault persists

Replace the climate control system control unit
