  1. Remove clamp bolt securing gearbox cooler
  2. Mark relationship between converter and drive plate.
  3. Rotate crankshaft to access drive plate to converter fixing.

  1. Loosen gearbox cooler pipe unions and
  2. Remove and discard ’O’ rings from pipes.
  3. Tie cooler pipes aside.
  4. Loosen gearbox filler tube union and remove
  5. Remove 4 bolts securing drive plate to 50. Remove and discard ’O’ ring from union. converter.
  6. Fit suitable piece of wood through bell housing access hole to retain converter.

pipes to engine sump bracket.

pipes to engine sump bracket.

disconnect from gearbox.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

from fluid pan.
