  1. Connect coolant hose to inlet manifold and secure clip.
  2. Remove plugs from fuel hose and fuel rail.
  3. Position fuel feed pipe to fuel rail.
  4. Secure engine harness clip to manifold bracket.
  5. Connect IAT sensor multiplug.
  6. Connect multiplug to injector harness and secure multiplug to bracket.
  7. Connect ECM vacuum pipe and brake servo vacuum hoses to inlet manifold.
  8. Connect breather pipe to inlet manifold.
  9. Connect throttle cable to throttle cam.
  10. Locate throttle cable adjusting nut in abutment bracket.
  11. Secure throttle cable in clip on inlet manifold.
  12. Connect multiplug to TP sensor.
  13. Connect breather hose to throttle body and secure clip.
  14. Connect multiplug to IACV.
  15. Connect purge hose to inlet manifold and tighten clip.
  16. Refit air filter. See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - MEMS, Adjustments.
  17. Refill cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM, Adjustments.
  18. Connect battery earth lead.

Service repair no - 30.15.12

Remove

  1. Remove air filter See ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - MEMS, Repairs.
  2. Remove underbelly panel. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
Gasket - exhaust manifold - ’k’ series – Remove underbelly panel. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
  1. Remove 2 nuts securing front pipe support bracket to IRD unit.
  2. Remove 2 bolts securing front pipe to engine sump.
  3. Remove 4 flange nuts securing front pipe to manifold.
  4. Release front pipe from manifold and discard gasket.
  5. Release oxygen sensor multiplug from coolant rail bracket. Disconnect multiplug.
  6. Remove 5 nuts securing exhaust manifold to cylinder head.
  7. Remove exhaust manifold.
  8. Remove and discard exhaust manifold gasket.
