Bonnet alignment – Service repair no - 76.16.02
  1. Check alignment of bonnet against both wings.
Bonnet alignment – Check alignment of bonnet against both wings.
  1. Open bonnet and mark outline of hinges.
  2. Loosen 4 nuts and adjust position of bonnet.
  3. Lightly tighten nuts securing hinges to body.
  4. Close bonnet and check alignment against both wings.
  5. Open bonnet and re-adjust bonnet position if necessary.
  6. Tighten nuts securing hinges to body to 10 Nm.
  7. Close bonnet and check alignment against both wings.
  8. Open bonnet and repaint bare areas on hinges.
