CHILD RESTRAINTS

Child restraints
  1. Seat belt anchorage points - rear seat
  2. Seat belt bracket eyes - inside belts
  3. Adaptor plate - outside belts

Anchorage points for the fitting of approved child safety seats and restraints to the rear seats are provided on the inside seat belt anchorages. An adaptor plate must be fitted to the seat belt outside anchorage point. Lift the rear seat to gain access. This type of anchorage allows the seat or restraints to be hooked through the eye in the seat belt bracket or adaptor plate if using an outside fixing. It is advisable to use the centre position whenever possible.

CAUTION: It is important that the installation instructions provided with approved child safety seats are followed.

  1. Anchor bolt - seat belts
  2. Hole cut in trim finisher
