Service Repair No. 84.35.12

  1. Remove washer and nut securing arm to motor.
  2. Remove arm.

Refit

  1. Fit mounting grommets to motor.
  2. Fit arm to motor spindle and secure with washer and nut.
  3. Position motor assembly to bulkhead and tighten bolts to 9 Nm.
  4. Connect wiper linkage to motor arm.
  5. Connect multiplug to harness.
  6. Refit plenum air intake cowl and secure with 7 screws and 8 clips.
  7. Refit 7 caps to plenum air intake cowl securing screws.
  8. Fit wiper arms, seeWindscreen Wiper Arm and Blade.

Remove

  1. Remove wiper arm, see Wiper Arm and Blade – Rear Screen.
  2. Remove taildoor trim pad, see BODY – Repairs.

  1. Remove wiper motor spindle cover.
  2. Remove spindle nut securing wiper motor to taildoor.
  3. Remove locating washer and retainer.
  4. Remove sealing rubber.

  1. Disconnect multiplug from wiper motor.
  2. Remove 3 bolts securing wiper motor to taildoor.
  3. Remove wiper motor assembly.
  4. Remove 3 mounting rubbers from plate.
