Front brake calliper bracket - r r

Operation 3310A57 · FRONT DISC BRAKES

Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Proceed with removal - 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R..

1. Release the front brake caliper flexible pipe from the mounting bracket.

2. Remove the clip securing the brake caliper to the bracket.

3. Remove the protective plugs (3a), undo the bolts (3b) and move the front brake caliper (3c) complete with pads away from the bracket.

4. Undo the bolts (4a) and remove the front brake caliper bracket (4b).

Refitting

1. Place the front brake caliper bracket (1a) back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Place the front brake caliper back in its housing (2a), fix it tightening the bolts (2b) to the recommended torque and fit the protective plugs (2c).

3. Refit in its seating the clip securing the brake caliper to the bracket.

4. Fit the front brake caliper flexible pipe to the mounting bracket.

Proceed with refitting - 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R..

Remove the car from the ramps.

3.2 V6 · 10/03 to 01/04

Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF position, then disconnect the negative battery terminal (-).

Proceed with removal - 4450B02 left front wheel r r.

Proceed with removal - 3310A30 FRONT BRAKE CALIPER (one) - R.R..

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the front brake caliper bracket (1b).

Refitting

1. Place the front brake caliper bracket (1a) back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

Proceed with refitting - 3310A30 FRONT BRAKE CALIPER (one) - R.R..

Top up the brake-clutch fluid level - 0010T64 brake and or clutch fluid check level and top up as necessary.

Bleed the air from the hydraulic braking system - 0010T65 hydraulic brake system bleed air.

Proceed with refitting - 4450B02 left front wheel r r.

Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the car from the ramps.
