EnginePhase transformer check
PHASE TRANSFORMER CHECK
- Start up the engine and keep it idling.
- Disconnect the phase transformer supply leads.
- Connect the two transformer terminals to the battery.
- Check that, with the transformer supplied, the engine revs fall until it almost cuts out.
- If this takes place it means that both the transformer electromagnet and the tranformer hydraulic actuator are working.
