REVERSING LIGHTS - DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
The vehicle is equipped with a white reversing light located in the right side light.
It is activated each time reverse gear is engaged: this information is received via a switch located on the outside of the gear casing.
The circuit for the reversing lights is supplied by an ignition-controlled line protected by a fuse in the engine compartment junction unit.
The reverse engagement signal is also acquired by the engine control unit, sent via the CAN to the Body Computer, which forwards the information for the automatic operation of the rearscreen wiper, the parking sensor control unit, the Blue&Me map navigation system, etc.
See E3021 REAR WINDOW WASH/WIPE
The same signal is used directly for the management of the electrochromic interior mirror.
