Removing

Op. 5530B10 BATTERY - R+R

Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R

Op. 4450B02 LEFT FRONT WHEEL - R.R

Op. 7055B65 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST COVER IN LEFT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R.

- Connect a suitable container to the clutch actuator bleed valve and drain all the brake-clutch fluid.

1. Compress the upper clip (1a) for the retianing device (1b) and release the push rod (1c) for the master cylinder from the clutch pedal (1d).

2. Adjust the clips and remove the retaining device (1b) from the push rod (1c).

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the clutch system supply pipe.

2. Move the clip back and disconnect damper from the master cylinder.

3. Undo the nuts (3a) and remove the master cylinder (3b).

Refitting

- Place the master cylinder in its housing and secure it tightening the nuts to the recommended torque.

- Connect the vibration damper to the master cylinder and secure it using the retaining clip.

- Connect the clutch system supply pipe and tighten the band.

- Fit a new retaining device on the clutch pedal.

- Connect the master cylinder push rod to the retaining device on the clutch pedal.
