PARKING LIGHTS NOT WORKING

The parking lights do not work under any circumstances.

The switching on signal for the parking lights (side lights and the no. plate lights) is supplied directly by the Body Computer Node.

The driver turns on the parking lights using the steering column switch unit. With the ignition OFF, the side lights are activated:

steering column switch unit in neutral position, all the side lights come on
steering column switch unit turned to the left or right, all the left or right side lights respectively come on

	Check whether the side lights come on as follows when the ring nut and the lights control lever on the steering column switch unit are activated: Ring nut on side lights and steering column switch unit in neutral position: all the lights Ring nut on side lights and steering column switch unit turned to the left: left lights Ring nut on side lights and steering column switch unit turned to the right: right lights	End of diagnosis	The side lights do not come on	Move on to Step 1

	Connect the Examiner to the diagnostic socket and check that there are no faults in the Body Computer Node	Move on to Step 3	Presence of faults.	Proceed as instructed by the diagnostic tester

			No lights come on	Replace the bulb Op. 5540A50 BULB FOR REAR LIGHT CLUSTER (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - REPLACE
