CAUTION : Half shells : Observe their original location (in the case of re-use).

CAUTION : Make sure that the lugs of the jets are correctly engaged in the cylinder block (at "a") (Before tightening).

Clean the bearing shells (3).

Refit :

• The 4 jets (2)
• The unions (1); Tighten to 2,5 ± 0,3 daN.m
• The upper bearing shells (3) (Grooved half shells)

N.B. : The central bearing shell is fitted with lateral blocks.

Refit the crankshaft.

Cut 5 pieces from the plastigage [1] to the widths of the bearing shells.
