Untighten the fixing bolts; Perform in reverse order (from 10 to 1).
Remove the crankshaft bearing cap casing.
Compare the width (in mm) of the plastic gauges [1].
The value read indicates the running clearance.
The clearance should be between 0,032 and 0,102 mm.
Clean off the traces of the plastic gauges .
Select the category of bearing half-shells (Refer to the specification).

Fit the tools [2], [3].
Press on the end of the crankshaft in the cylinder block.
Set the dial gauge to zero.
Press on the opposite end of the crankshaft in the cylinder block.
There should be a 0,060 to 0,310 mm endfloat.
