CAUTION : If re-used : Observe the original location of the pistons.

Oil :

• The pistons
• The linings
• The conrod bearing shells

Refit the connecting rod/piston assemblbies; Using tool [5]. Cut 4 pieces from the plastigage [1] to the widths of the bearing shells.

CAUTION : During this operation, the crankshaft must not rotate.

CAUTION : Observe pairing of the conrods/big end caps.

Fit the plastigage threads [1] on each of the crankshaft journals. Refit the conrod caps. Refit the conrod cap screws (Use the old screws). Tightening procedure; Using the tools [6], [7], [8] :

• Tightening to 5 ± 0,5 daN.m
• Angular tighten to 70 ± 5 °
