VACUUM PUMP - R+R
Removing
Op. 1016A10 SOUND-PROOFING COVER - R.R
1. Disconnect the rapid connector for the brake servo vacuum pipe, vacuum pump side.
2. Disconnect the vacuum reservoir vacuum pipe from the vacuum pump.
3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the vacuum pump (3b).
Refitting
- Place the vacuum pump in position and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Connect the reservoir vacuum pipe to the vacuum pump.
- Connect the rapid connector for the brake servo vacuum pipe to the vacuum pump.

Removing
Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.
1. Loosen the band and disconnect the vacuum intake pipe from the vacuum pump.
2. Undo the bolt securing the pipe mounting bracket.
3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the vacuum unit (3b).
- Remove the gasket.
Refitting
- Place the vacuum unit complete with gasket in positin and secure it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.
Follow the order shown in the figure for each tightening sequence.
The tightening to 2.0 daNm is performed in two stages: a pretightening to 0.5 daNm followed by an additional tightening of 1.8 - 2.2 daNm.

2. Tighten the bolt securing the pipe mounting bracket.
3. Connect the vacuum intake pipe to the vacuum pump and tighten the band.
