EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD

Removing

Proceed as follows:

1. Disconnect the battery's negative terminal. Remove the band connecting the filter to the hose.
   Undo the fixing bolts, release the spring and lift up the complete air filter, releasing it from the throttle casing;

2. Disconnect the crankcase vapour recirculation pipe and remove the air filter.
   Undo the four bolts fixing the cowling. Remove the two fixing buttons and remove the cowling.

3. Prepare a sutiable container, then disconnect the lower radiator outlet hose and drain the engine cooling system.
   Also disconnect the upper hose and the pipe connected to the expansion tank.

4. Disconnect the fan electrical connection.
