Removing - refitting

Proceed as follows:

1. Disconnect the battery's negative terminal. Remove the fuel manifold following the instructions in the appropriate paragraph. With the fuel manifold on the bench, withdraw safety clip (1) and remove injector (2).

FRONT LAMBDA SENSOR

Removing - refitting

Proceed as follows:

2. Disconnect the battery's negative terminal. Disconnect the electrical connection for the front Lambda sensor and release the wiring from the bands.
   Raise the vehicle, then undo the Lambda sensor using a USAG 875/22 type spanner.

NOTE Take care not to mix up the connectors if both the sensors are disconnected.
When refitting, spread the sensor thread with grease resistant to high temperature;

REAR LAMBDA SENSOR

Removing - refitting

Proceed as follows:

3. Disconnect the battery's negative terminal. Disconnect the electrical connection for the rear Lambda snsor and release the wiring from the retaining bands.
   Raise the vehicle, then undo the Lambda sensor using a USAG 875/22 type spanner.

NOTE Take care not to mix up the connectors if both the sensors are disconnected.
When refitting, apply grease resistant to high temperature to the sensor thread;
