Removing

Protect the areas surrounding the rear crossmember by applying adhesive tape.

1. Unscrew the retaining nuts.

2. Remove the rear crossmember.

Refitting

Check that the crossmember is not damaged or distorted.

Remove the residues of sealant from the bodyshell and from the crossmember.

Fit the rear crossmember and tighten the fixing nuts.

1. Renew the sealant on the crossmember and on the bodyshell.

2. Tighten the retaining nuts to torque.
