- disconnect the orange connector of the airbag control unit wiring cable;

• before removing the clockspring assembly, check that the references (1) marked on it coincide.

The clockspring assembly is fitted with a rotation locking system (clip 2) which engages when the steering wheel is removed.

• Using a Torx key size 20, unscrew the screws securing the clockspring assembly to the steering column shroud;
