Disconnection - reconnection of spiral device

Unactivated Air-bag devices must be stored immediately in the appropriate, clearly marked and lockable cabinet. The figure illustrates how the Air-bag device should be stored. The metal part must rest against the surface.

• To reconnect, reverse the sequence of operations performed during disconnection.

DISCONNECTION - RECONNECTION OF SPIRAL DEVICE

• Position the steering wheel so that the wheels are aligned;
• unscrew the steering wheel fixing nut and make a reference mark between the column and the steering wheel hub;
• unlock and slightly detach the steering wheel from the column;

• crimp the clip and remove the connector from its housing.
