- Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor electrical connection

- Disconnect the single injector (SPI) electrical connection

- Unscrew the screws (1a) of the throttle case (1b).
- Withdraw the throttle case cover from the fastening clasps using a screwdriver.
The throttle case and the components are never to be immersed in any type of washing liquid. Overall cleaning is to be carried out with compressed air and a brush.
If it is necessary to replace the single injector or components of the pressure regulator, the whole throttle case cover has to be replaced.
Refitting
- Assemble the throttle case cover and fit it on the fastening clasps.
- Tighten the throttle case cover securing screws to correct torque
