The figure below illustrates where the distance between the brake pedal switch (A) mounting bracket (B) on the pedal assembly and the reaction bracket (C) for the switch push rod on the brake pedal is measured.

Measure the distance between the two brackets and check that the nominal distance is 24 mm.
