Removing

- 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace

1. Release the retaining tabs (1a) from slots (1b), then remove air inlet sleeve (1c) from the air cleaner housing.

Removing

- 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace

1. Release the retaining tabs (1a) from slots (1b), then remove air inlet sleeve (1c) from the air cleaner housing.

1.8 16v

Removing

- 1016A40 ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

- 5530B52 Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.

- 1048A28 vacuum air circuit resonator pipe - r+r

1. Release the hose at both ends and remove it.

Removing

- 5530B52 Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.

1. Release the cold air intake (1a) from the connector on the front end (1b) and from the air cleaner (1c), then remove it.

Removing

- 5530B52 Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.

1. Release the cold air intake (1a) from the connector on the fan (1b) and air cleaner (1c), then remove.

Refitting

Fit the air inlet sleeve to the filter until both retaining tabs on the sleeve fit into the holes on the filter case.

- 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace

Refitting

Fit the air inlet sleeve to the filter until both retaining tabs on the sleeve fit into the holes on the filter case.

- 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace

1.8 16v

Refitting

Fit the hose in position.

- 1048A28 vacuum air circuit resonator pipe - r+r

- 5530B52 Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

- 1016A40 ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r

Refitting

Fit the cold air intake.

Fit the pipe to the connector on the front end and the air filter casing.

Refitting

Fit the cold air intake.

Fit the pipe to the fitting on the fan and air cleaner case.
