1.2 16v

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

Raise the vehicle.

- 4450B08 right rear wheel r r

1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe fitting to the bodyshell.

2. Undo the nut fixing the filler pipe to the bodyshell wheel arch.

3. Disconnect the flexible section of fuel filler pipe (3a) and reflux pipe (3b).

4. Remove the complete fuel filler pipe.

1.4 16v

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

Raise the vehicle.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler to the bodyshell.

2. Undo the nut fixing the filler pipe to the bodyshell wheel arch.

3. Disconnect the flexible section of fuel filler pipe (3a) and reflux pipe (3b).

4. Remove the complete fuel filler pipe.

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

Raise the vehicle.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe fitting to the bodyshell.

2. Undo the bolt fixing the filler pipe to the bodyshell wheel compartment.

3. Disconnect the flexible section of the fuel filler pipe (3a) and the reflux pipe (3b) from the tank.

4. Remove the complete fuel filler pipe.

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

Raise the vehicle.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe fitting to the bodyshell.

2. Undo the nut fixing the filler pipe to the bodyshell wheel arch.

3. Disconnect the flexible section of fuel filler pipe (3a) and reflux pipe (3b).

4. Remove the complete fuel filler pipe.

2.4 20v

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

Raise the vehicle.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe fitting to the bodyshell.

2. Undo the nut fixing the filler pipe to the bodyshell wheel arch.

3. Disconnect the flexible section of fuel filler pipe (3a) and reflux pipe (3b).

4. Remove the complete fuel filler pipe.

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

Raise the vehicle.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe fitting to the bodyshell.

2. Undo the nut fixing the filler pipe to the bodyshell wheel arch.

3. Disconnect the flexible section of fuel filler pipe (3a) and reflux pipe (3b).

4. Remove the complete fuel filler pipe.

Removing

Place the car on a ramp.

Raise the vehicle.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler to the bodyshell.

2. Undo the nut fixing the filler pipe to the bodyshell wheel arch.

3. Disconnect the flexible section of fuel filler pipe (3a) and reflux pipe (3b).

4. Remove the complete fuel filler pipe.

Refitting

Fit the fuel filler pipe.

Connect the rigid section of the fuel filler pipe to the reflux pipe using new bands.

Tighten the nut securing the filler pipe to the body.

Tighten bolts fixing the fuel filler to the bodyshell.

Lower the vehicle.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

Refitting

Fit the fuel filler pipe.

Connect the rigid section of the fuel filler pipe to the reflux pipe using new bands.

Tighten the nut securing the filler pipe to the body.

Tighten bolts fixing the fuel filler to the bodyshell.

Lower the vehicle.

Remove the vehicle from the lift.

1.6 16v

Refitting

Fit the fuel filler pipe.

Connect the rigid section of the fuel filler pipe to the reflux pipe using new bands.

Tighten the nut securing the filler pipe to the body.

Tighten bolts fixing the fuel filler to the bodyshell.

Lower the vehicle.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

1.8 16v

Refitting

Fit the fuel filler pipe.

Connect the rigid section of the fuel filler pipe to the reflux pipe using new bands.

Tighten the nut securing the filler pipe to the body.

Tighten bolts fixing the fuel filler to the bodyshell.

Lower the vehicle.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

2.4 20v

Refitting

Fit the fuel filler pipe.

Connect the rigid section of the fuel filler pipe to the reflux pipe using new bands.

Tighten the nut securing the filler pipe to the body.

Tighten bolts fixing the fuel filler to the bodyshell.

Lower the vehicle.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.

Refitting

Fit the fuel filler pipe.

Connect the rigid section of the fuel filler pipe to the reflux pipe using new bands.

Tighten the nut securing the filler pipe to the body.

Tighten bolts fixing the fuel filler to the bodyshell.

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.
