Fuel tank - r + r for replacement
Removing
- 4450B08 right rear wheel r r
- 1040A10 fuel tank - r + r and decant fuel
1. Disconnect the rapid attachments for the fuel supply and return pipes.
2. Release the fuel supply and return pipes from the bands on the fuel tank and remove them.
3. Use tool (3a) to unscrew lock collar (3b), then remove the fuel pump (3c) together with the level gauge.

4. Disconnect the pipes (4a) from the tank and remove the filler pipe assembly (4b).

- 4450B08 right rear wheel r r
- 1040A10 fuel tank - r + r and decant fuel
1. Disconnect the rapid attachments for the fuel supply and return pipes.
2. Release the fuel supply and return pipes from the bands on the fuel tank and remove them.
3. Use tool (3a) to unscrew lock collar (3b), then remove the fuel pump (3c) together with the level gauge.

2. Release the fuel supply pipe from the springs on the tank and remove it.
3. Use tool (3a) to unscrew lock collar (3b), then remove the fuel pump (3c) together with the level gauge.

Refitting
Fit the filler pipe assembly.
Place the fuel pump in the special housing in the tank.
Fit the lock-nut and use the tool to tighten to torque.

Fit the delivery pipe.
