FOG LIGHTS OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
Operational Description
The negative foglamp activation signal reaches pin 1 of connector E of Body Computer M001 from exterior lighting control unit button H002.
The side light activation signal reaches pin 28 of connector C of M001 from exterior lighting control unit H092.
See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTS
A Key-on signal (INT) from ignition switch H001 reaches underfacia junction unit B002, at pin 11 of connector H and then passes on to the Body Computer M001 pins 9 and 13 (the latter protected by fuse F37) of connector H.
The Body Computer controls activation of the fog lamps by sending an earth signal to engine bay control unit B001 - from pin 8 of connector A - that excites relay R14 this supplies the fog lamps of headlamps F010 (left) and F011 (right).
he circuit is protected by fuse F30 of underfacia junction unit B002. Pin 10 of connector A of exterior lighting control unit H092 sends a signal to turn on the led on the rear fog lamp activation button.
Instrument panel E050 downloads the rear fog lamp activation/deactivation status from the B-CAN network to manage the warning light.
