  1. Remove clamping bolt securing steering column to intermediate shaft. Remove intermediate shaft.
  2. Position steering column assembly in vice.

  1. Mark ignition lock shear bolt heads with centre punch.
  2. Drill out shear bolt heads.

  1. Remove lock ’saddle’ from column.
  2. Remove lock assembly from column.
  3. Remove shear bolts from lock assembly.
