  1. Release grommet from body
  2. Feed bonnet release cable through hole.

  1. Loosen bolt securing earth header to inner wing and release cable from 2 inner wing clips.
  2. Remove engine compartment access panel. See this section.
  3. Remove hoodwell trim. See Interior trim components.

  1. Position carpet aside and remove 2 bolts securing bonnet release lever to luggage compartment bulkhead.
  2. Release cable abutment and cable from lever assembly.
  3. Release cable from rear, inner wing clip.
  4. Position felt pad aside and release grommet from hoodwell panel.
  5. Feed cable through body holes and remove grommet from cable.
