FUEL FILLER NECK - ’L’ SERIES

Service repair no - 19.55.07

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
  2. Drain fuel tank. See Adjustments.
  3. Raise rear of vehicle.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

  1. Remove LH rear wheel.
Fuel filler neck - ’l’ series – Remove LH rear wheel.
  1. Remove 2 screws, a bolt and 2 scrivets securing wheel arch liner.
  2. Remove wheel arch liner.
  3. Open fuel filler flap.
  4. Remove filler cap.
  5. Plug filler neck to prevent ingress of dirt.

  1. Remove 3 nuts securing filler neck to filler body aperture.
  2. Slacken clip, filler hose to neck.
  3. Disconnect hose, plug to prevent the ingress of dirt and move aside.
  4. Release breather hose clip, disconnect breather hose, plug and move aside.
  5. Remove bolt securing neck to body and collect washer.
  6. Remove filler neck.
