Fuel filler flap release cable

Refit

1. Position filler neck in body aperture.
2. Loosely fit bolt and washer securing filler neck to body.
3. Fit 3 nuts securing filler neck to filler body aperture.
4. Remove plugs from filler neck.
5. Remove plugs from hoses.
6. Connect filler and breather hoses.
7. Tighten bolt securing neck to body.
8. Position and secure breather hose clip.
9. Tighten filler hose clip.
10. Fit wheel arch liner.
11. Fit 2 screws, a bolt and 2 scrivets securing wheel arch liner. Fit LH rear wheel.
12. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
13. Remove plug from filler neck.
14. Refill fuel tank.
15. Fit filler cap.
16. Close filler flap.
17. Connect battery earth lead.

Remove

1. Remove finisher ’D’ post lower. See BODY, Interior trim components.
2. Remove rear seat cushion.

3. Depress pins, remove studs and release LH luggage compartment side trim.
