FUEL GAUGE TANK UNIT - ’L’ SERIES

Service repair no - 88.25.32

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
  2. Remove boot floor carpet.
Fuel gauge tank unit - ’l’ series – Remove boot floor carpet.
  1. Remove 3 screws and remove access cover.
  2. Pull back rubber cover from tank unit and disconnect multiplug.
Fuel gauge tank unit - ’l’ series – Pull back rubber cover from tank unit and disconnect multiplug.
  1. Use tool 18G 1595. and remove locking ring from tank unit.
Fuel gauge tank unit - ’l’ series – Use tool 18G 1595. and remove locking ring from tank unit.
  1. Remove fuel gauge tank unit and remove sealing ring.

Refit

  1. Clean tank unit and mating face on fuel tank.

  1. Fit seal to tank unit.
  2. Fit tank unit and secure with locking ring.

NOTE: Tag on tank unit to engage in cut out in fuel tank.

  1. Connect multiplug and fit rubber cover.
  2. Fit access cover and secure with screws.
  3. Fit boot floor carpet.
  4. Connect battery earth lead.
