Remove

  1. Remove heater assembly.
Diagram showing heater pipe bracket with callout numbers 2 and 3

8RM 1111

  1. Remove screw securing heater pipe bracket.
  2. Remove bracket.

  1. Remove 2 screws securing matrix cover.
  2. Remove matrix cover.
  3. Remove matrix.

Refit

  1. Refit matrix into heater.
  2. Position matrix cover.
  3. Fit and tighten 2 matrix cover securing screws.
  4. Position heater pipe bracket.
  5. Fit and tighten bracket securing screw.
  6. Refit heater assembly.

Remove

  1. 1.6 models: Remove air intake hose.

  1. Release clip securing outer heater valve cable.
  2. Release inner cable from heater valve.
